how NOT to fade lights???

You just set time of the action to 0. And maybe RTFM. 😉

It seems to be a combination of action = 0s  like you say. And pre/post waiting. Lights do not have a duration so it gets a bit confusing.

I think you are overcomplicating this

A light cue’s duration is the time it takes to go from the lighting state preceding it to the state after the cues action.

So if you have 3 light cues with action times of 5s  each cue will take 5s to complete.

If you change the times in the action column to 0 they will snap or hard cut between states.
