I just bought 33 projectors in a bid and bought a triple head to go device. I'm curious how many I can hook up to Qlab and the Macintosh.

Mac Pro's do around 6 outputs. With 6 triple heads you could get to 18 displays. Of course there's always the datapath x4 which does 4 screens so 24...

Not sure how many you could actually do before you start to skip frames.

Thanks

I have a MacBook Pro with 1 mini display port only (i.e.. Not Thunderbolt), so am I limited to a max of three output via the triplehead2go?

Thanks for any advice.

Yup that's correct.

I've used a white macbook running a simple video through madmapper and a triple head before and it went pretty well!
Thanks

at the risk of stating the obvious(which may or may not be useful anyway depending on what you're trying to do...) you can feed each output of the tripplehead to a distribution amp which will feed it to many projectors - you'd only have 3 outputs to work with, but you could have whatever you send to those outputs show up on many projectors at the same time....
