OSC Control of grandMA2 onPC

Hi All,

I have an upcoming project that we'd like to control grandMA2's onPC software with OSC.  I'm having trouble finding any info on the subject.  Has anyone had any experience, and if so, any hints?

I don’t think MA lighting software speaks OSC at all. However, you can control a lot of it with DMX input (executor faders, buttons, etc.), and telnet to run macros and other commands. (See "DMX Remote" under MA settings)

I’m currently working on some custom software to do exactly this – receive OSC from QLab, and output Art-Net DMX, Telnet and other things for almost exactly this purpose. I am interested in learning more about what you are trying to achieve, so I can make it more easily possible.

Depending on what aspect of MA you need to control, if your requirements are simple, this may be doable using Quartz Composer, Vuo, or something similar.

Does it need to be OSC? Timecode is super simple to set up on GMA.
