Of note - this seems to only affect installing a new build of QLab after a previous one was installed. If I install 5.4.9 on a new user account, I don't get the problem. But if I install and run 5.4.8 on a new user (no problem), then download and install 5.4.9, 5.4.9 will close as above (until the user logs out and back in).
I tried launching QLab from Terminal (e.g. % /Applications/QLab.app/Contents/MacOS/QLab) to see if anything printed out to stdout that might be helpful from libndi. And... it doesn't close if I launch QLab from Terminal.
