OSC query another application/device to build an OSC cue

Hello,

I've been wondering if there is any possibility to query an application or device (sound console for instance) to get a parameter an use the response to build a cue.

Let's say there is an audio mixer with OSC, I want to get the aux send level of channel 5 to aux 8 and make the corresponding network (OSC) cue in QLab to be able to recall this value without having to manually enter the OSC method and value.

In other words is there a way to process incoming OSC messages in response to an OSC query inside a script or a network cue itself to build a new cue in QLab?
