is anybody using chromcast to connect wireless qlab with video projectors and monitors? is it a good or bad idea in your opinion? any hints about it?
Hi Lorenzo,
We do not support using Apple TV, Chromecast, or any video output devices that do not connect directly to the computer and (with the exception of Blackmagic devices) do not show up to the OS as an available desktop display.
The only wireless solutions we recommend using are ones that have a dedicated sender unit that connects directly to the computer’s HDMI or Mini DisplayPort output.
Thanks!

It would indeed be cool! One limitation of tvOS as it stands now is that it has strict local storage limits on the device; they expect you to download data you need on demand, rather than store a lot of files locally. But I know this precisely because we are rather curious about it ourselves. :-)
