Hello friends
I’m very pleased to announce that QLab 5.6 (actually 5.6.1 but what’s 0.0.1 between friends?) is available now. It is a free update to QLab 5.
This release is focused on internal fixes and improvements, but also adds a few features that we think are pretty exciting…
- The ability to loop Fade cues and Network cues that use 2D paths.
- Big improvements to audio meters, which are now more responsive and also visible in the Audio Output Patch Editor, Map Editor, and Trim tab.
- The ability to re-try binding to network ports that were unavailable when QLab launched.
- A whole bunch of lighting instrument and network device definitions.
- Many, many, many small changes and fixes.
You can find the full, detailed change log here:
As usual, we recommend that anyone currently in tech rehearsals, previews, or performances avoid updating unless they are currently experiencing a problem that’s addressed in the change log.
Thank you!
On behalf of the whole team,
Sam
