Looping cues and re-starting the loop

Hope everyone is doing fine here! I will actually premiere our shoe PLAY 3.0 this Friday. So nice to be back on stage again!!! Anyway, I have a lot of looped light cues. They loop at a specific BPM to match the tempo in the audio.

Then I can use the "start Effekt X Layer 135 BPM" to trig the loop. 

But unfortunately the "stop Effekt X Layer 135 BPM" can stop the loop in the middle of a loop. So that next time I run "start Effekt X Layer 135 BPM" is doesn't start from the beginning, but from where I stopped it last time : (

Has anyone got o cleaner way of stopping a loop so that when it starts again it really starts from the beginning... Like an apple script or so?!

Hi Erik

Instead of using a Stop cue that stops the Group, use a Disarm cue to disarm the Start cue at the bottom of the looping Group.

Then to restart the effect, use an Arm cue to re-arm the Start cue, then use another Start cue (or AppleScript, MIDI, or OSC) to start the Group.

Hi Erik

That’s not exactly what I had in mind… have the Disarm cue target the Start cue that’s at the bottom of your screen shot. That will stop the Group from looping, but allow a current loop to finish if it’s in the middle when you ask it to stop.
