I have fifteen different cues (visuals for a band. 10 songs and some for the gab in between the songs ). They all ends in an infinite loop in order to be flexible for variable song length and are going to be activated from a midi controller from a band member or directly from a laptop by a sound technician.

Is there a way to play only one cue at a time? To stop all other cues when a new is selected/activated by the GO button so there is always only one cue playing? I wish to be able to improvise and jump between the cues Ie. from cue 1 to 5 to 11 to 2 or what ever suits the live situation.

This is probably very simple but Im all new to Qlab..Thanks for any advise

In the triggers tab for each cue check fade and stop peers over time.

If you set all video cues to bottom layer then your videos will crossfade as well

I think the easiest way to do this is to put fade & stop in the Triger tab on all songs as shown in the image I attached.1.png

Thanks a lot Gunthe! It works great and I can even adjust the fade time "over time:" when setting the layer to Bottom in "Display and Geometry". 🙏
