I've got a 30 minute video of photos playing for a preshow display with other interviews that play every five minutes or so. I had been able to use the pause before in a smaller scale to stop something and then play to restart it at the time I paused it originally.

Right now it's restarting the clip from the beginning instead of the pause point. I'm also pretty brain fried here to so I may be missing something obvious. Any suggestions?

I won't be able to upload the workspace until later if you want to look at it as we are running said show right now. Also qlab is the current version and I running 10.10.5 yosemite. Thanks everyone.

That should work. Can you upload your workspace now?

Here we go. The offending cues is in the groups labeled Preshow and Intermission. I know there are probably several other broken ones further down in the workspace but they're just a few cues that ended up changing last minute. Thanks!

I did just catch that when it was playing that clip again it would restart my timers. Disabled the auto continue on that. Still no effect on the play/pause issue.

Hi Matt,

I tried building a similar cue sequence myself, and then I also tried dragging in my own media files to your cue sequence (shortening the lengths of some of the cues for testing purposes).

All works fine on my end.  Can you reduce it to a simpler example that doesn’t work?

I ended up splitting that 30 minute photo file into 5 minute chunks and just let them play through instead of trying to stop and start them. I also deleted said video as I was running out of space. What I did do however was find another long video file (this time a hour long clip that was 351MB) and loaded that into a blank workspace to check it. It would restart the entire clip from the beginning instead of the pause point like the original problem.

Did another couple of tests. Had another clip that was shorter but high def and was roughly the same size file(298 MB). This one didn't want to pause and restart either.

Tried a much smaller file(22MB) and it did finally work with pause/play.

My computer is a Macbook Pro 2013 with 8 gigs of ram, 2.4 intel i5 and the intel iris graphic card which the "About my Mac" screen says has 1536MB available. Going to guess it doesn't like to mess with files that big?
