Trouble With Fade Target

I'm trying to set up fades on some audio cues and I'm doing what I've always done, adding the fade and then dragging the target onto it.  After I do that though, QLab is saying that no parameters have been set, pick at least one thing to fade.  I'm not sure what step I missed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,

Once you set the target, you need to tell the Fade cue what to do with
it. So you need to set a new audio level for it to fade to. Right now,
you just have a Fade cue that's targeted to an Audio cue, but doesn't
do anything to it. Just click on one of the level sliders or matrix
mixer fields to enable it for the Fade cue, and set the new level you
want to fade to.
