Qlab 5 not fading in images but will fade out - works in v4

Hi,

I have updated from. V4 to V5.  Currently running v5.3.3

I cannot get fade ins to work on images in v5.   Fade outs work fine.   I am following the process I have used in V4.7 for many years:

1. Fade cue, auto-follow, opacity parameter set to 100, targeting the image cue.

2. Jpg image, opacity set to 0.  it is the target of the fade cue.

When I GO, the screen says black for the duration of the fade, and then the image appears, no fade, at 100% opacity.

I have tried pngs and jpegs and .mov - all exactly the same.

Is anybody aware of any changes in v5 which stops this mechanism from working?  I have read through the documentation and cannot see anything different in V5 for this process.

Is the image cue in the list before the fade cue?  Order is important in v5
