Hi friendly folks at F53, and community :)!

Just something that looks like a bug to me (current 5.5.10, M1 MacBook Pro) - I have a fake screensaver video (looping) in three cues/instances, to run on 3 separate prac screens, each a different stages. Their playback rate is slowed to a half. With load cues, I tried to use the load-to-time feature to offset them against each other when they play (to not show the same frame at the same time). It works - as in, when I click into the cues, I can see the yellow load to time, where it has elapsed to etc, but then, however I start them (go, or with start cues), they then playback in sync again.

Bug or feature? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for looking into this :)!

All the best,
Freddy

Hi Freddy,

This does seem to be a bug.

Thanks for the report

Hi again Freddy,

Does this only happen if you are auditioning the cues?

I am finding that it works correctly for normal playback but as you describe when auditioning.

Thanks Chris,

I was able to pinpoint the issue more - still occurred without auditioning, but what I found was that it did not work if the load to time cues where in the same top level timeline group cue, but if I put them into a start first and enter, and made the sub group cue follow the two load-to-times, it works.

Another oddity that I also noticed is - despite the duration in the cue list (even when not playing) reports the rate-affected (longer) time correctly, I think the load to time references the original clip time instead (so before a rate change).

All of it no biggie, now that I have that work around working, but just thought I'd let you know :).

Cheers,
Freddy
