Why is it that QLab don't support FLAC?

Partly asking to satisfy my curiosity, partly to hear if it's any chance it will be included.

Media playback in QLab 3 is handled by AVFoundation, a core technology
of Mac OS X.

AVFoundations doesn't support FLAC, so we can't either. Simple!

(AVFoundation and CoreAudio, neither of which support FLAC.)
