I’m really excited to announce
panLab 2, a spatial audio mixing solution designed to integrate seamlessly with QLab.
Using panLab 2, you can intuitively mix QLab Audio and Mic cues by positioning them on a virtual map of your sound system.
panLab 2 is designed to be so simple to setup, you should be up and running in under 5 minutes. At the same time, it is full of advanced features and customisations.
For example, automate the movement of sounds around a space with Sequences. You can draw movements straight onto the panner, and panLab will create a series of QLab fade cues to store and replay the automation.
This software is also the only spatial audio mixing solution on the market that doesn’t require any additional hardware or software to be running during performances, only whilst programming your audio. This is because all output level data is stored directly in the QLab cues.
There is a 7 day free trial available to everyone. If you are interested in purchasing a copy, you can use code QLAB20 at checkout for a 20% discount. The code is valid until the end of May.
I'm really interested to hear your feedback on the software. We've got big plans for panLab 2, including integrations with additional third party hardware and software. Right now though, it has been designed specifically for QLab.
