Processing (processing.org) has a relatively straightforward Twitter API. You could then use Syphon to get it into QLab.

There may also be a Javascript solution using the JS patch in Quartz Composer.

But AFAIK any solution will involve a bit of programming. Or a fair chunk of money. There are commercial solutions for sending tweets to a projector but they are pricey IIRC.

Hi Willy,

We are using a RSS feed and Quartz Composer to post Live tweets to the screen.  It uses a hash tag that we update daly to sort.  It works pretty good but is super random and has zero filter which for the most part has not been that big of an issue.
Here us a link to the Quartz file and a screen show of how it looks.  Let me know if you need any help, I don't know much about quartz but was able to find a twitter file and mod it to work for us.

The Quartz file has a transparent background so it will overlay onto an existing video or slide.

Hope that helps
Ryan
