Apple has made a few small improvements to Tahoe, although in my opinion it’s not really going to be possible to address all of Tahoe’s issues until the next major release of macOS at the earliest.
Official Figure 53 advice is always to wait until at least the “x.1” release of macOS which has come and gone, so as long as you don’t need to use QLab 4, you can absolutely use Tahoe without issues.
My personal position is going to be trying to skip Tahoe entirely and hope that Apple chooses to roll back some of their more aggressive design choices.
But again, if you need a new Mac it’s going to run Tahoe, and that’s going to be just fine.
