BM UltraStudio Monitor 3G with 1080p 25.

Bought BM UltraStudio  Monitor 3G because of new Mac with only Thunderbolt 3 connection. I use the SDI output.

Works fine, but only in 1080p 50. Tried 1080p 25. From projector I get a message.

"signal out of range". (Barco W8). Same message with 720p.

The message do not show when I start Qlab. But when I start a video it comes.

HDMI works fine but not SDI.

It works fine with the older version of BM UltraStudio MiniMonitor.

Anyone?

Did you get this resolved? If so would like to know the solution.

If not, it might be a faulty unit?

Can you read the resolution at the projector side of the cable. Like using a Decimator or similar product to show it?

Side note: I believe the original BM mini monitor will work with the newer Mac using a thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter. I use the mini recorders in that way without a problem.

Nope, no solution yet.

I find out that it is not a qlab problem.

Tried with BM Media Express software. Same problem (have 3 units).

Read on Internet that some had the same problem with Desktop Video 12.2.2

They changed to 12.2.1 and it works fine. But not for me.

I have send an email to BM. See if they can help.
