Hi, I need to make groups with pngs, for example pngs each to a different video output, I need all 5 to fade out and after 20 seconds it will crossfade with the next group and so on with more groups. What is the best way to do it? I have seen that if I make a group and choose playlist mode it does it but it only does it with one png. What would be the way to do it? I could do it one by one but wouldn't there be a quick way to do it?
Thanks.

It's a good idea, normally they ask me to make about 20 groups, I see that it works but the problem I find is that if for any reason I have to stop the png loop I would have to start from where it stopped and since I have prewaits I would have to start from the first one in the group.

To restart in the start group, load to time.

You could also change the prewaits to postwaits on the preceding groups

An alternative method, which may be much simpler, depending on your workflow, is nesting a playlist group cue  for each stageScreenshot 2025-02-23 at 23.11.58.png
All videos set to  top layer
You can select all Playlist Group Cues either manually or with :

tell application id "com.figure53.QLab.5" to tell front workspace

set thePlaylists to (cues whose q type is "group" and mode is playlist) as list

set the selected to thePlaylists

end tell

To batch-edit the Playlist properties

To change all the video cue durations

Select all cues
In the basics tab of the selecter use the pop up menu to select only video cues and edit the duration.

Not that that doesn't work, but in my head that's the wrong way round. I'd make timeline groups for all the simultaneous images, and then put them in a playlist group. Unfortunately that doesn't crossfade correctly, because Qlab doesn't fade the timeline group in correctly, but then you can add fade ins to the timeline groups and that seems to work (images at 0 opacity, fades bring them to 100). Then if you need to jump in to the middle, you're just starting in the middle of the playlist and it gives the bonus that they'll fade in on first play.

There's definitely many ways to achieve this end, but this is what my brain went for.

Very good idea too. I've already found the way that works perfectly for what I want.
Thank you very much.Captura de pantalla 2025-02-26 a las 23.02.32.png
