Hello,

I've got a strange (but actually easy) problem. I have a stereo soundfile and wanna for the first 6 seconds only the left channel be played and then a fade in of the right channel so that both will be heard. So I put down the level of the right channel of the audio file and insert a fade before the audio file. There my problems started. Because I wanted the fade after 6 seconds I put a pre-wait into the fade but then the sound file started (of course) after the pre-wait time. So I put both cues (fade and audio file) in a group set to fire all children simultaneously and everything for that worked great. BUT using the group for fade and audio file the following cues stopped working like before. There is an auto followed applause-track with a fade out cue after my sound file. But when the applause-track starts the blue bar doesn't jump to the fade-out cue and keeps on the applause-track. When I change the group mode to "start first child…" everything (except the fade-in after six seconds of course) works like exspected. I'm sure my problem is the group mode; so can anybody tell me a different way for the fade-in after 6 seconds-thing?

Put the fade cue after the audio cue. Auto-continue from the audio to the fade. Add a pre-wait of six sec to the fade.

Yeah, that would work but the applaus-track which "autofollowed" the main track isn't starting then automatically...

Anyways, is it right that the cue after the autofollowed cue after the group which is set to "Start first child" is automatically selected and that one after the group which is set to "start all children" is not?

Try putting the applause cue in the group with the first cue and the fade. Then give it the same pre-wait time as the length of your audio cue. Put your fade cue for the applause outside the group. That should give you what you want and leave you sitting on the fade cue - I did a quick example using random files here, it looks like this.Inline image 1

Oh - if it's not obvious, you of course want the group to be fire all children simulteneously
