Either a crossfade parameter in the loop option or a vamp/devamp cue for video would be awesome. It takes a fair number of steps currently to do what seems like a rather simple operation. Anyone care to share best practices for cue sequences of this nature?

lucas --- you're right this isn't that easy ... but it isn't particularly hard either ??? i took a quick look at this .. i've got an animation cue to fade the first video cue .. and then an auto-continue into a group (fire all) with the second video cue (opacity zero) and an animation cue (fade-in opacity, 0 to 100) .... with a 1 second pre-wait on the fade-in animation cue (2nd video cue) to allow for a more-pleasing cross-fade ......... i wasn't aware that devamp doesn't work on video cues ..... i would have assumed (without trying or looking at anything) that devamp .. would devamp -anything- that's running .......

Sure. But, getting out of that loop is tricksy. 2nd Cue loops to first via Start Cue and on we go around and around until we need to get out and… that's where I run into trouble b/c the out point will never be exact to where we are in the loop. And it takes 7 cues to make the loop happen in what feels like should be one, or at most, two. The trouble with using the video loop function is that it is a rare piece of video that has clean loop points unlike audio which ultimately breaks up into bars that can be spliced.
