Peace-

I am running video and audio cues through Qlab and connected to a projector, here is my goal:

1.  Run the cues without the audience seeing any of the interface pop up on the screen.
NOTE: The projector is mounted high so a person cannot cover the lens with a piece of paper or anything to block it.

Here is my main problem

1.  I am not able to pause the video cue once it starts playing on full screen mode because the next cue becomes highlighted the instant I trigger the previous cue.  I need the highlighter to stay on the cue I trigger so that I can pause it with the Keyboard shortcuts.  Does anyone know how to do this?

thanks!

Gus

It may be you can just use the global pause and un-pause keys: [ and ]

These will pause and un-pause all running cues.

If you need more specific controls on a cue-by-cue basis you could do something like creating a Pause Cue that is triggered by a hotkey.

Best,
Chris

Hey Gus,

What version of QLab are you running? 2 or 3. The video system is different on each.

Unless you had one of the old iMacs where the VGA Output could only mirror the main screen, this shouldn't be a problem. Here's what to check: In System Preferences under Displays Arrangement, the Mirroring option needs to be off. Then your Mac will treat your projector as an extension of your desktop. Once that is true, then QLab can deal with your projector separately from your main screen. That way, your cue list window will be available at all times.

From there, you need to tell QLab which output to use, and that's where the difference between versions 2 and 3 comes into play...

Hope this helps.

You may also want to look at the "Hold at End" option in the Time & Loops tab.
