Hi all,

I've been following this list for a year or so, and have used Q-lab for about two years.
I'm currently doing a show where a lot of cues are multitrack backtracks. Since I use about 10- 16 tracks of audio in each of these cues, I've of course arranged them as folders.
However - I move these around a lot and because of various autocontinue cues I sometimes accidently get two cues playing at the same time.
I've colour coded them so I when I play a cue,  the playback indicator for the folder gets a specific colour in the "active cues" window, while the separate tracks remain uncoloured.
In this way I can pause the entire que very fast instead of accidently just pause one of the tracks in this cue.
But when I have multiple "folder cues" running - I have to scroll down the list of all the tracks playing to get hold of the folder I want to pause.
What I want to ask is if there is any way of making the active cue window behave like the cues in the cue list? If, for example a folder is closed in the cue list - only the playback control of the folder is shown in the active cues window, so that the window don't get clogged up with all of the individual tracks in this folder?

Can this be done?

Interesting example.

Currently the active cues is always a flat list of cues; it doesn't
have a way to hide cues that are inside a folder.

One question: it may be that it is important for your tracks to be
separate cues, for example to move them from one group to another.
But if not would it be possible to just put all the tracks in a single
file and have that single file as an audio cue? Then you wouldn't
have all the extra cues running--just one cue per backing track....

Best,
Chris
