Hi!! What's the most convenient way to map multiple LED surfaces? At an event I often work on, I have to map different surfaces, LED banners, with Qlab. What I do is create, for example, a 4K image, within which I create different surfaces at the resolution of the banners and position them according to the pixel map. Any recommendations from anyone who regularly maps LED screens with Qlab?
Thanks

You want to use Regions to map different areas of your Stage to your various Display outputs. It's worth reading up about video routing in Qlab at https://qlab.app/docs/v5/video/introduction-to-video/ to understand the various concepts of Output Devices, Output Routes, Regions and Stages.

Basically each of your LED video walls / displays will be an Output Device - you want to create these first in Settings-Video-Output Devices tab setting the correct device resolution (19200x1080 or whatever). This will automatically create Output Routes - which is a "pipe" between a Region on a Stage and your Output Device.
Here are screenshots

Once you have these set up you can then edit your Stage - in Settings-Video-Video Outputs tab and create Regions which connect to Routes. Set the pixel size of the Stage to suit your layout. Then from the New Region with Output drop down to select the output route. You can change the size of the Region by clicking and dragging them around the stage or by enter numbers on the right of the dialog.
This screenshot shows a rather  random position of regions for illustrative purposes...

Now when you create a cue using Stage 1 the different regions will be sent to your displays. Of course you can create more than 1 Stage and regions as needed; Each video cue will go to one Stage.
It's really helpful to plan everything out carefully with video resolutions first. Also remember to use the recommended codecs and adjust the size of your videos files to match the Stage size for best performance.

I'm doing it in a similar way. With a 4K output, I map different banners and output the rest directly to 1080p.
Now all that's left is for Qlab to implement the option to have the 0 coordinate in the upper left corner.
Thanks.

HiHi!!!! When mapping a "long" banner, I do it the way shown in the images. I create a surface at the banner's resolution, create regions that make up the entire banner, and warp it, I place it according to the pixel map the LED technicians give me. I don't know if this is the best way or if there's a better one, but it works for me.
