QLab and Mainstage

Heyas,

   Wondering if anyone here might have some experience with this. Weve been using qlab for the past couple years to run audio and midi ques for our backing tracks and dmxis lights. recently weve started sampleing all of our hardware synths to use in mainstage with midi controllers so were not lugging around 7 synths. What Id like to do is set up qlab to trigger patch changes in mainstage with a midi que or script to make everyones life easier. Is this this even possible?

I've done it with an IAC bus as Mic describes, however I must warn that it ate up way too much CPU to be reliable... admittedly  on a mac mini.  Definitely make sure you have the firepower, or even a second dedicated machine!

In mainstage preferences/midi set midi program changes to 0...127 to get a 1 to 1 corellation between patch numbers

In Patch List highlight the concert name

In the concert inspector attributes set the program changes to IAC bus 1 ch1

That's it.
