Having a weird issue

running Companion  3.2.2 (3.2.2+6688-stable-7417d2a0) and Qlab 3.5.3 on MacOS 13.6.4
See the screenshot for the Companion button configuration

I have a cue in a secondary cuelist in my workspace - it's cue number is c

However the button in companion doesn't fire that cue - if there's a selected cue in any qlist that's what it fires as if it was a generic go

Any idea what's going on?

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but have you tried a more complicated cue number? I tend to use camelCase for ease and also to make sure nothing is doubling up... Would at least help to narrow down what the nature of the bug is, if it is indeed a bug.

yes - I did try a couple of other cue numbers including more complex ones - it's a really good though though.

Yes it doesn't work.

The fix is to use a goto  c followed by a GO on the button.

You can also use a custom OSC command

I'd also point out that the current QLab Companion module is not compatible with QLab 3

This module is intended for QLab4. While QLab3 is detected, some features may not work. New features unique to QLab5 are in development.

Having said that the version of QLab you claim to be using in your original post doesn't exist so perhaps you meant 5.3.3

If you open the workspace status/logs and tick OSC you will see that the Go with options with cue number is  is not sending a string argument.

Sorry that was a typeo - I’m on Qlab 5.3.6

Thanks for the help!
