Hey fellow QLab'ers, I am looking for a super basic delay audio unit plugin that I can use with QLab 3.  I dont have a console or other system processing to do my delays, and it would be great if I could just drop a plugin delay on a device output.  I tried the Apple AUDelay but I can't type in delay times which is not optimal for loudspeaker delays.

Suggestions?
GW

Have you tried Apple's AUSampleDelay?

Apple AU sample delay is probably best, but if you can't be assed to do the math (at 44.1kHz 4410=100ms maximum delay, 441=10ma 44=1ms) then Apple AU delay works (100% wet 0% feedback). Not sure why you think you can't type in the value? Has to be in secs though. .01 secs =10ms

Also, If you have MAX or PD it's not hard to roll your own.

micpool - The AUSampleDelay does work fine for me, but I'm trying to use it to teach students about delay.  Doing simple sample math makes it more confusing so I am looking for a better solution.

Dave - I forgot that Max lets you build AudioUnits now.  I'll give that a shot and I'll post my plugin here for you all to use.  Thanks

Great, that would be nice. I built one for a show last year to invert and delay signal to a sub for an oddball flown end-fire array configuration, but I don't have access to that computer at the moment as it's loaned out.

This is actually perfect!  The interface is a bit weird but it does exactly what I need.

Thanks Daniel.
