Hi there.  I think I'm being a complete n00b but I'm trying to set up a simple fade cue to fade out the audio.

I am putting the target as an audio cue that I have set up and as far as I can see other than fiddling with the timing of the fade this should be all I need to do.  However I am getting the red cross and when I hover over it it says "No fade parameters have been enabled select at least one thing to fade"

What am I doing wrong?

I am using the free mac version.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

If you go into the Levels tab of the Fade cue, you’ll see several faders that are grayed out because they are inactive.  You need to enable the ones you want to be active.  If you just want a basic fade out, the Master fader is probably what you want.  Click on the handle and drag it all the way down.  It should be bright yellow instead of grayed out which means it’s active for the cue.

If you’re fading out, you can also have the cue stop the playback after the fade is complete by checking that box - Stop target when done.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much.   Problem solved! Silly problem easily solved.  I would have thought that would've been the default setting.
