Hand held remote control advise please.

I’m need some advice on a remote control set-up. I’m running QLab on a Mac in live performance mode and I’m looking for a wireless remote that meets the following criteria:

1. Three programmable buttons for:

   • Go (to trigger the next cue)

   • Pause (to pause all cues)

   • Unpause (to resume all cue)

2. Plus two additional controls for Volume Up and Volume Down of the Mac. 

3. Discreet enough to be concealed in the hand of an actor during a live performance (so the actor can operate it without it being too obvious).

4. Mac / macOS compatibility, and known reliability with QLab would be a big plus.

Go and Volume are ok but no option to assign a pause and un pause. 

Page up and down buttons are not suitable. 

Could you recommend any specific models or brands that are known to work well with QLab in this kind of live theatre context?

Audio Ape would be my first choice. Not cheap but super reliable and can be configured for different options for the buttons.
