Is there a "standardized" way to create a loop of cues ?
and especially also some way to "jump out of it" at a given moment ?

I came to a following solution, but it seems as such a hasstle. Is it
an "acceptable" solution, or am I seeing the whole thing completely
from the wrong perspective ?

1. group fire simultaneously
1.a goto loop3 and continue
1.b goto endloop3 and NOT continue
2. stop group 1

3. loop3
3.0 intialize loop if needed and continue
3.a cue 3a and continue (optionaly with delay)
3.ax goto 3b and continue
3.b cue 3b and continue (optionaly with delay)
3.bx goto 3c and continue
3....
3.x goto 3.a and continue

3.z stop 3. NOT continue

4. group endloop3: fire simultaneously and continue
4.a target of 3.ax=3.z
4.b target of 3.bx=3.z
4.c target of 3.cx=3.z
4....

5. go on after loop

Right from luckydave himself!:

The best way to create this kind of loop would be to auto-follow from the last cue to a Start cue, which is targeted at the first cue in the sequence. Put the whole looping sequence into a Group cue, with its mode set to "Start first child and go to next cue", and then for the next cue, set up your exit from the loop.
