Others may be enjoying these hiccups, which should be temporary.
We've had some issues with MOTU MkIV audio interfaces on the new Macbook Pros.
See the link below from Mark Of The Unicorn.

Matt at MOTU suggested using the Caldigit Thunderbolt adapter (below) for interfacing the MOTU until their USB drivers are sorted out for OS 10.14.
For us, the MkIV hybrid was previously connected through a Belkin dock, second link.

We’ve got 4 Motu 24ao’s which we had issues with USB direct connections to the mac. As per Motu advice, running via Thunderbolt dock fixed this.
I’ve also been testing 10.14.4 which so far after 5 days of continual use without a reboot seems to have fixed the issues we were having.

Just heard from Ryan at MOTU.
Apparently the driver listed as MkIV Hybrid v2.0 (77610) is not the one to use.
Roll back to the Mk3 Hybrid driver. v1.6 (73220).

Oops, Ryan just corrected his previous e-mail.
Version 2.0 (77610) it is.
