I have a Mac mini hooked up to a datapath x4 outputting to 2x projector and 2x displays, all working as fully independent outputs thanks to the datapath.

Obviously qlab sees the datapath as one display - so I've created surfaces, one for each of the four connected displays- but I really need to keystone one of these surfaces.

As far as I can see- I'm unable to keystone one surface without affecting the other three.

I'd imagine this would be the same issue if using a TH2G or similar- and am I right in thinking that partial screens won't help me, as the datapath isn't 4 wide, it's four corners...

Thanks in advance,

Jonny

The trick is to use the Datapath's Windows configuration software to make it a 4-wide display, rather than 2x2. Then, partial screens will help you to make individual surfaces for each physical display. Partial surfaces only work in a 1x2, 1x3, and 1x4 format, so arranging the displays that way in the Datapath is the answer.

Fantastic, thanks for your speedy answer. And with partial screens I'll then have all 4 corner points to control the keystoning of all 4 portions of the datapath?

That's correct. With partial screens, you get to treat each 1/4 of the Datapath's 4-wide display as independent screens.
