Mac display limits vs NDI?

Hello:

Does NDI provide a way to exceed the limit on the number of external displays connected to a Mac?

For example, pre-M4 MacBook Airs were limited to 1 external display, so does NDI enable use of 2 or more, assuming NDI network requirements are met?

Hi Ian,

The display limits listed by Apple are for devices that macOS presents as a screen. (Something that you can drag a window to in the Finder.)

Video output from NDI, Syphon, or Blackmagic devices do not count as displays in this sense, so those are indeed ways to expand the amount of video a Mac can produce beyond the screen limits.
