Limiting number of participants per breakout room

Dear QIQO-community!

For an upcoming event we're planning on limiting the number of participants able to join our breakout rooms. QIQO should provide the solution to limit the number in the "Security & Permissions" settings, but when set it doesn't seem to have any effect at all.

I've set 

• "Breakouts that have a Max # of Participants" to the corresponding rooms (e.g. 1,2,3,4) and
• "Max Participants per Breakout"  to 6 people.

When testing with collegues (with guest accounts) we were still able to join after the limit of 6 was reached. We even waited for a couple of minutes because the hints section says: "Once the max number of participants in a room has been reached, the button to join a room will not be visible. It is possible for more than this number of people to enter a room if they all click it at the same time."

Is the function to limit the amount of participants per breakout broken, or is our configuration wrong?
