Upcoming improvements to QiqoChat

Hi everyone,

Some of the exciting improvements that are coming in the next four weeks:

• 1-1 chat messaging inside an app
• Discourse (an open source forum tool) attached to every circle
• small-group video chats using video in the browser, creating more options for networking and "liberating structures" facilitation
• making it easier to change the custom colors of an event and to upload documents for an event
• improving QiqoChat written conversations to make it easier to embed them into events

Hi Lucas,

(my previous praise-and-wish-email just went to you, so I just add it below)

If I can have additional wishes, they would be:

- a "guestbook" function, sth. like Qiqo written conversations (could work for it), (it's great when the author is visible and not autonymous) which then ideally could be exported also to pdf. If there is a good embeddable external tool for it, I'ld be fine too.

- a participants list within the main Qiqo-Event-room (so far I only see it for the RSVP-list for confirmed email users on the landing page) with the possibility to choose how to contact the person (via 1-1 chat or via mail if confirmed). I don't know, if this is potentially included to the new 1-1 chat.

that sound like great improvements I'm very much looking forward to!

One question about "uploading documents" - Does that mean, that there will be a "Download" Section available for participants? So they can download documents relevant for the conference? That's something I'm indeed missing a lot in Qiqo. Or is there a workaround for this already.

E.G. I tried to share a pdf from a google drive, but that also wasn't allowed to be shown in Qiqo and I had to open an new window. Any simple embeddable downloading structure would be very helpful. Will that be it? Or do you have other workable ideas for that?
