I should explain that right now I am being treated with

a powerful antifungal.  Medicine has finally diagnosed the

illness I recorded in TBoS.  Actually I diagnosed it myself

myself years back, but got no effective help.  The medicine

terbinafine is toxic, so I have to have a liver test soon to see

if the body can tolerate it.  The die-off of candida produces

a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction.

I began writing the autobiography with the beginning of treatment

as a distraction from the symptoms.  A great deal of negative

energy was released using Taoist techniques and my computer

coincidentally or not, died on that very hour in September.   

It has been taken away by HP engineers on September 25th 

and the affair is fairly major it seems.

My work is backed up on portable memory and I'm working 

from my laptop which is plugged in like an open heart patient 

to the sound system and monitor and backup memory.

Shen stuff is double backed up.  Wires everywhere.

There's some official stuff I should have done last month which 

I absolutely must do now and it will take me a week or so.  After 

that a break and I'll come back to computing later in November.

Faster than HP support probably.

I hope the medicine improved things a bit by now. I suppose all the damp weather in the UK doesn't help much.

Oh this bounced to the group.  Stuff to the News Group bounces to my email and 

I just replied not noticing the address on the top.  No matter.  I suppose people were

wondering what had happened to me.  I'm healing is the answer - and doing well so far.

Thought about you re Starmer.  Dreadful man.  Has it in for people it seems.   Are

you going to stay?

Re return to computer science; this will happen - but after I have resolved

other things.  Hard to say how long this will take - healing is a bit unpredictable.
