This last month has been slack as we've been wrapping up the
commitments of the phase of work that began in January 2011 and will
finish next month with the publication of TBoS. During this time I've
been reflecting and consolidating some of the conclusions that I
reached last month. I've been corresponding with Joel Shellman vis a
vis a JVM port and the result will be an integrated project bringing
my ideas about an IDE (Babel) built with a Shen using the resources of
the JVM and Java. The idea is a little too long to elaborate in a
single post, so you can read it from a link on the Shen home page or
directly here.

There is an appeal for funding on that page. Don't take it lightly.
Projects like this do take time and money and without the latter, it
cannot happen.

How about that; and Eric is the driver who was a big contributor to
the Shen library! Well we will need a different name perhaps. Other
than that; much goes on as before.
