FYI:
CLC Bio has released an "add-on" for their Genomics Workbench that does some of the basic functions of QIIME. It's called the "Microbial Genomics Module".
The plug-in is not cheap, and you need a licensed copy of the Genomics Workbench (again, not cheap).
