Rename IDs in OTU .biom table

Hi,

  I have two OTU .biom tables from different runs that have the same IDs. I want to use merge_otu_tables.py to merge them, but will have a problem because they have the same ID.

   How can I change/rename the ID on the second OTU table?

Hello,

In biom 1.3.1 (the Qiime 1.8 dependency), I don't think there is any better way than converting to .txt and changing the names manually, then back to .biom unfortunately.  Documentation here.
