QIIME Mapping File

I'm trying to validate a mapping file but it's very large (30MB) and is unsurprisingly taking a very long time to work through validate_mapping_file.py. 

I've probably done something wrong creating the file as most of the example mapping files I've seen only have a small number of samples but I have a large number of unique samples in my data set?

Any advice greatly appreciated?

Hello,

I'd recommend disabling the HTML generation (--suppress_html) with very large files, which will make the script run a lot faster. You'll have to dig through the text file that is created which logs locations of errors and warnings though.
