Can't install all the packages of QIIME1.9 with the script:qiime-deploy.py!

Dear everyone,

These day I want to install QIIME1.9 on my Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS x86_64 server. I followed the instruction of qiime-deploy: https://github.com/qiime/qiime-deploy. But I think I met a problem!

After the qiime-deploying finished, I got a summary like this:
DEPLOYMENT SUMMARY

Packages deployed successfully:


Packages skipped (assumed successful):
clearcut, blat, raxml, cdbtools, sourcetracker, rtax, cytoscape, chimeraslayer, drisee, vienna, infernal, mothur, qiime-galaxy, bwa, blast, SeqPrep, muscle, rdpclassifier, cdhit, galaxy

Packages failed to deploy:
tax2tree, pprospector, ampliconnoise, ea-utils

Then I find some softwares in the installation directory, only these softwares:

But in QIIME 1.8 installation directory I found much more softwares:

According to the QIIME1.9's DEPLOYMENT SUMMARY, I only found that 'tax2tree, pprospector, ampliconnoise, ea-utils' failed. So, please give me some advice, why I can not install all full packages needed for qiime 1.9.

Hi Wei, I don't think that you'll need most of the failed packages - they're not used for much of the core functionality. However, if you're feeling adventurous, you can use the pip install qiime approach at (http://qiime.org/install/install.html) - that might install some of the non-core dependancies.

Thanks for your help. I have gotten your idea, but some core packages can't be  installed successfully also, like :   qiime-1.9.0-release package and so on.

If pip's not working for you, I think don't worry about it. I'd recommend that you give some tutorial data a run through and see if everything works fine.
