Greetings All,

It has been a while since I wrote the list, as summer tends to really slow down in terms of teaching activity. However, fall is looming on the horizon, and will be here before we know it, and exciting plans are already underway. Sooner than that, on Sunday July 27th, I will teach a daylong Qigong and Meditation workshop/retreat at Five Branches University. All the juicy details are below!

This email contains:

*** Medical Qigong Certification
*** Thailand Trip in January (Thai Massage, Medical Qigong certification, and CEU's)
*** Qigong at MA Center?
*** Calendar of Events

*** Medical Qigong Certification
The exciting news for the fall is that we will begin offering Medical Qigong Certification at Five Branches University, starting off with an entry level 200-hour certificate, Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP). This certificate will consist of four 32-hour courses (Level 1 through Level 4 aka P1 through P4) as well as 72 hours of clinical training (Clinic 1 aka C1). The MQP certificate is ideal for anyone who wishes to delve into energetic medicine, augment their massage, acupuncture, or any alternative or allopathic medical practice, or simply wants to explore energetic practices in great detail. This certificate promises to be a rich journey into energetic medicine and the energetic arts.
The first Level 1/P1 course will be offered in the fall of 2008 in two formats, weekly classes or daylong intensives:
Level 1 on Monday nites from Sept. 8th - Dec. 15th, 6:30 to 8:30 PM (32 hours & CEU's) or
Level 1 on the first Saturday of each Month: Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6, from 8 AM - 6 PM (32 hours & CEU's)
Details and links are in the Calendar of Events below. As we build momentum, and students, we intend to offer more advanced levels of certification in the future.

*** Thailand Trip in January (Thai Massage, Medical Qigong certification, and CEU's)
Five Branches University is offering a trip to Thailand at Mantak Chia's resort in Chiang Mai. This promises to be a wonderful journey into Thai Massage as well as Medical Qigong, both of which are offered for certification credit. I am particularly excited to have been asked to teach in Thailand, and look forward to sharing all this wonderful knowledge in such a beautiful tropical location.

*** Qigong at MA Center?
Once Amma's US tour concludes, I will contact MA center to set up more dates for Qigong and Meditation daylong retreats in the fall months, so stay tuned!
