Hi all,

If you feel like taking part in an unofficial re-run of the Icy Projectile Challenge (http://queue.acm.org/icpc/2011/main.html) please send an email to bulgareal...@gmail.com with:
(a) your team name
(b) one or more google accounts which will be used to interact with a google drive shared folder

Differences to the original challenge:
* you can use any language you want
* you will be posting a "binary" (executable jar, x64 binary, or executable script), not source code
* each player will run in a separate docker container based on "ubuntu:17.10" image (1 cpu, 1G ram restrictions, no net)
* assuming installation on Ubuntu 17.10 doesn't take much effort, interpreters and libraries can be added to the runtime
* you will be uploading the player binary and the list of challenges to a google drive shared folder and will be getting back trace files for the games and the results in that shared folder
* cut-off period for daily preliminary matches is 0:00 GMT

Estimated timeline:
* today -> up to 21 March 0:00 GMT register (note that I might not be available to create your account close to the deadline)
* 21 Dec - 20 March preliminary matches (start time could be sooner - as soon as the arena is ready)
* 21 March double-elimination tournament

Disclaimer:
* I'll do my best to have things running smoothly but I have various time constraints and might not always be responsive
* I will also be taking part in the competition and you'll have to trust me that I will keep things fair (not going to access the uploaded players, traces of other players, re-run matches etc.) - I'll post the arena software to github when ready

Once the arena is ready you will receive an email on the registered address with further details. In the meantime you can work on your player.
