Dear Artist Friends,
This is a commissioned piece I painted for a friend, and it brought back such wonderful memories of our time together in Salinara, Sicily, back in October 2024. I can still picture those windmills pumping seawater into the salt-terraced pools. We spent days painting en plein air along that beautiful coastline—moments I’ll always treasure.
Time moves quickly. It’s been nearly two years now. I hope all my fellow artist friends are still painting and creating. As for me, life has shifted in many ways. I continue to paint, but my creative energy has increasingly moved into broader DIY projects, largely influenced by my growing use of AI. I’ve come to realize I’m entering a new chapter of life—the world is evolving, and so are we.
I feel incredibly grateful for all we’ve experienced in such a short time. I hope you’re all doing well. I believe we’re all here for a reason, and I’m thankful to be on this journey with you.
