Gang,

Thanks to a tiny contribution to Gradle made by yours truly, the test reports now allow browsing ignored tests.

See https://qi4j.ci.cloudbees.com/job/qi4j-sdk.develop.hourly.tests.jdk7-oracle/ws/build/reports/tests/index.html

Ignored tests accross the SDK are either awaiting for issues to be fixed or rely on an external service to be available (eg. MongoDB, Memcached etc...).

So, at this time we have 335 ignored tests (more than 2K tests total).
Most of them depend on external services or are unsupported Index/Query features.

Using the docker image available here https://github.com/eskatos/qi4j-docker-testbed we can reduce this to less than 200.

Among theses remaining 200- ignored tests, the vast majority is from unsupported Index/Query features, 80% of them being the Solr based Index/Query extension which in fact only support indexing and native solr queries.

TL;DidR - Qi4j SDK ignored tests situation: we can now easily get the big picture and drill down to ignored tests. That was a purely informational post. You can now go back to your normal activities.

:-)

/Paul
