Performance comparison of Erasure coding and replication (QFS implementation)

Dear folks,
I know there is some comparison of QFS (Erasure coding) and HDFS(replication). Do you know where could I find some performance comparison of erasure coding and replication (both implemented in QFS), so that I can understand the difference in these two redundancy strategies?
