Fuccha Quiz

Hi,

As you all know, the Fuccha Quiz is scheduled to be held on 26th September. The questions are to be made by the reps. I think have already told you that a couple of times before. So if you haven't started yet, do so immediately. Please try to make decent questions which you think can be answered by the fucchas. Also, don't lift passages from wiki. At least write the stuff in you own words.

You have to make 5-6 questions for the mains and 2 for the prelims.

About the format. I know that the points policy says that there is to be a direct entry from each hostel of 5 members. But do you think it would be better if we changed that to 8+3 format,i.e 8 teams from different hostels according to their prelims score and 3 wildcards (of course, no two wildcards can be from the same hostel). I think the second format will lead to maximum participation. Please let me have your views by tomorrow.

Lastly, I think I asked you guys to get me the contact details of DU quizzing presidents. Only Ankita did anything about that. Now, either the rest of you know no one in DU or are just to lazy to do anything. Whatever may be the reason, I expect to see some results in the next few days.

        Apoorv, you will be making the posters. Do show me the poster before you get it printed.

        Also, mention the Club name (along with the QC icon) on the poster.

I wanted to know if only one team per college is allowed in Rendezvous events like Jeopardy, Sphinx..etc..???

Yes, QC has a icon. It's there on the group.
There's no limit on the number of teams from a college. In fact, all
the members of a team need not belong to the same college. All we need
is that they be college students.
And I would appreciate some feedback on the Fuccha Quiz. If a recieve
none by tomorrow morning, I will assume that you all are okay with the
8+3 format and it will be FINAL. No arguments about it later on.

Well, that is a point. But I think we could have max. participation if
we go for 8+3. It's important for the event to be a success. And
technically, all the hostels could still make. All you need to do is
to be in the top 11 teams.

Well, Its a comp event and that too a freshers' event. So, I think, each hostel should get representation in the final round. This will give a chance to freshers of all hostels to have a taste of what QC is !.

I feel, we should continue with the 11+3 system. What say ... other reps?

well that's a more convincing way of putting Ankita's point. And if
you are going for 11 PLUS 3, you are asking for a lot of teams... See
if we can have that, coz it would satisfy both the issues..

i think 11 or 11+3 thing is better..atleast the freshers 4m all the
hostels vl get a fair chance......and taste of quizzing......
or if the problem of no. of freshers is dere i guess it wont b tough 2
manage 5 freshers......or v can reduce d no. of participants per
team....if possible...

PS:can u tell me what are the QC events in rendezvous and who are the
quiz masters
