Introduction
Electronic transport in different regime is determined primarily by
the length scales in the system, i.e., the system size L, the elastic
and inelastic length Le and Li, and the Fermi wavelength λF. As we
know, Le is governed by the typical distance between the impurities and
other static lattice irregular, while the Li is determined by
energy-exchange type of interactions such as with other electrons or
phonons. The Fermi wavelength is determined by density of electron.
Basically, quantum shows the wave nature of electron. In nanoscale
confined system, the energy detail is included because of the spitted
energy level.
Classic diffusive regime: λF, Le, Li << L;
Quantum diffusive regime: λF, Le << L, Li;
Classic ballistic regime: λF << L < Le, Li;
Quantum ballistic regime: λF, L << Le < Li;
