Problems creating PDF Paper-Backup-Form

Good evening,
I have issues creating a PDF paper backup form. If I create a report and click the "preview"-button, I can exactly see what I want. If I download the filde, I get a PDF without any text. Just checkboxes and outlines and so.
I thing I read about this issue somewhere, I believe it was a fixed issue in some minor upgrade.

So I guess I have to perform an update from 3.1.1. to the latest version 3.1.1.x.

I guess I'm using 3.1.1. because it shows

QATrack+ v3.1.1|(c) Ottawa...

on the bottom of each site.

How can I perform such a minor upgrade? I know I've read it somewhere, I just can't find it any more...

I got no error, but nothing changed... Still the same issues, still showing

Something didn't go right with your upgrade if it's still showing 3.1.1 in the footer.  It should be showing 3.1.1.3. 

If you look in qatrack/settings.py for the VERSION string on line 33, what does it say?  If it says 3.1.1.3, then you likely just need to restart the QATrack Cherry Py service.

I am having this same issue (empty PDF reports), I am on QATrack+ 3.1.1.3 and chrome v114. The only error in report-stderr is:

[1129/141707.545:ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(135)] TransactNamedPipe: The pipe has been ended. (0x6D)

Although I didn't have the same fontconfig error (only "The pipe has been ended"), Randy's fix here solved this problem for me. This is on Windows

(in short, "opening `qatrack/qatrack_core/static/adminlte/css/admin-lte.pdf.css` and removing the `@import url('../../qatrack_core/css/fonts.css')` line then running `python manage.py collectstatic` again")

I posted a more permanent fix on the GitHub issue here: https://github.com/qatrackplus/qatrackplus/issues/659#issuecomment-1855051487

I'll get it rolled into QATrack+ for the next release.
