Migration issue?

Hi all,

I'll try to keep this simple. I have some technical background but I'm definitely no pro, so I'm reaching out for some help.

I was trying to get the SQL Query Tool running, and in the process, I broke something - just not exactly sure what. I was trying to follow along from the docs and other posts on the Google Group, and my best guess is that I improperly/incorrectly did a migration at some point.

When I do python manage.py migrate, I get an exception on "units" that says KeyError: 'date_changed_old' and "django.core.exceptions.FieldDoesNotExist: UnitAvailableTime has no field named 'date_changed_old'".

Some strange behaviors I notice now:

• Whenever I go to add a new group OR modify an existing one on the admin site, the "Default Group" box is always checked off. If I uncheck it and then reload the page... it shows up as checked off again when the page is done loading.
  
• I have two identical user groups "Medical Physicist" (made before my work on getting the Query Tool working) and "Test" (made after).
  • They have exactly the same user rights.
  • But, when I add a user to the "Test" and then go to the "Choose a Unit to Perform QC On" page, it appears totally blank.

Any thoughts or leads on fixing this? I'm on version 3.1.1.3.

Lesson learned not to tinker too much on the backend :(

Hi Alex,

It does seem like a migration has gone awry at some point...can you post the output of python manage.py showmigrations?  That will allow me to see what migrations have been applied so far.  Is this on SQL Server?  Is it a production database or are you just getting a new database set up?
